Services & Fees

PMLC is extremely cost efficient since our services allow clients to utilize their time more effectively, thereby enabling them to avoid wasting time on frivolous or marginal cases, and, in many cases, avoid the necessity of retaining high-priced outside medical experts. And in those situations where an outside expert will be required, PMLC is able to utilize its contacts within the medical community to locate board certified specialists with the expertise and credentials to achieve optimal resolution.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:

--screen cases for merit

--review, summarize, and analyze medical records and other relevant documents to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a case

--organize and index medical records chronologically

--locate outside expert witnesses when necessary and serve as liaison

--assist in pre-trial discovery, e.g. develop case strategy, interrogatory recommendations, prepare deposition questions for witnesses and opposing experts, deposition attendance

--prepare a comprehensive summary of relevant medical literature and standard of care identification

--trial preparation and support, e.g. exhibit development, timeline presentation, case strategy and trial theme development

FEE SCHEDULE:

--$195/hr for case reviews, preparing written reports, and other traditional medical-legal support services (reduced rate schedule is available for volume clients)

--$350/hr for providing expert testimony at deposition or trial

--flat fee option for a pre-defined specific assignment is available on a case-by-case basis
